Mark National Clean Energy Week With NETL
National Clean Energy Week September 24 - 28, 2018

Today marks the beginning of National Clean Energy Week, a timely opportunity to recognize our robust portfolio of research aimed at promoting responsible stewardship of the environment.

National Clean Energy Week began in 2017, when a coalition of businesses and organizations from across the country partnered to advance support of the nation’s energy sector through market development, policy change and technological innovation. NETL is working to support that initiative by delivering on our mission to discover, integrate and mature technology solutions that enhance the nation’s energy foundation and protect the environment for future generations.

Clean energy innovations in development include next-generation turbine technologies that produce reliable, affordable electricity with virtually no emissions; solid oxide fuel cell technologies that offer the potential to produce highly efficient, cost-effective electricity with near-zero emissions of carbon dioxide and minimal water consumption; and supercritical carbon dioxide power cycles that boost efficiency, drive down the cost of electricity and drastically reduce carbon dioxide emissions for fossil fuel-based power.

The Lab could not achieve these ambitious goals without the world-class capabilities, facilities and people that fuel our success. We appreciate the hard work and continued dedication of our valued employees as we strive to provide clean, reliable and affordable energy to all Americans. Please join us as we celebrate National Clean Energy Week on FacebookTwitterLinkedIn and Instagram!
