The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement is to support the recycling of consumer electronics batteries and battery-containing devices to help build a robust domestic critical material supply chain for EV batteries in the United States. Modification 000001: incorporates clarifications as to Eligibility requirements in accordance with BIL Sections 40207 (f)(2)(3) and (4).
Modification 000002: incorporates a statement of project eligibility as an additional required application document.
Modification 000003: The purpose of this Amendment is to incorporate information about EPA webinars and training materials with guidance on how to effectively encourage behavior change for recycling education. See Section I.B. Topic Area 1.
Modification 000004: reopens the FOA to solicit Full Applications for Topic Area 4 only, removes the requirement to submit a Concept Paper, and incorporates Pre-Selection Interviews. Topic Areas 1-3 are now closed.
