NETL has exceptional facilities and leading-edge capabilities that enable innovation to thrive. But what really drives solutions are our scientists and engineers, who are dedicated to a sustainable energy future and making the world a better place. 

This month, we feature a few of our innovation specialists, whose talent and expertise represent a few members of world-class team, such as: 

• Neil Kirschner, who is locked in on America’s goal of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 as he works to help evolve electric vehicle technologies and expand their use on American highways. 
• William Fincham, who has pursued three passions during his two decades at NETL: a love for technology development by nurturing external partnerships, musicianship and an enthusiastic regard for architecture and local history. 
• Krista Hill, who focuses on the development of innovative decarbonization projects and credits her adept multitasking skills to experiences that included working as a snowboarding instructor, launching a tutoring service, helping a friend start a food cart service and more. 

These are just a few highlights of our larger team who are making a difference every day. From advanced carbon management technologies to transformational power generation options, our dedicated scientist and engineers are making great strides to deliver integrated solutions to enable transformation to a sustainable energy future.
