As part of the 2024 FECM / NETL Carbon Management Research Project Review Meeting, the National Energy Technology Laboratory invites you to visit our Direct Air Capture Center, take a tour of our other carbon management R&D facilities, and hear from our researchers about their work in carbon dioxide removal, point source carbon capture, and carbon dioxide conversion.  Please join us on the morning of Friday, August 9th


A bus will depart from the David L. Lawrence Convention Center at 8 a.m.  Participants will be driven to NETL’s Pittsburgh campus, where they’ll clear security, before touring the laboratory for two hours.  The bus is expected to return to the convention center around 12:30 p.m.


Space for the tour is quite limited, so sign up early.  Non-U.S. citizens interested in attending will need to complete site access paperwork by June 30th.


If you are a foreign national, to include LPRs, please complete the attached form 142.1-1A and return to David Luebke at david.luebke@netl.doe.gov.  Due to Department of Energy requirements, all foreign nationals, must submit an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) listing all work positions, science and technology specialties and detailing education and employment history, with no gaps, showing the month/year for each item. The CV and 142.1.1A form are to be submitted to the person indicated above.  For foreign national questions, contact Holly Biddle at 412-386-5704.  Forms and CVs must be submitted by Sunday, June 30, 2024 to allow for processing.
