K–6 School Visits

These stimulating, hands-on, minds-on STEM activities and demonstrations supplement and enhance schools’ existing STEM curricula, cultivate children’s thinking skills, and develop early positive attitudes about STEM topics.

Middle school

Middle School and High School Visits

At the upper middle and high school levels, when students further develop their interest in STEM and start thinking about careers, NETL researchers visit the classroom to discuss and demonstrate more complex STEM and energy topics and the multiple pathways that can lead to STEM careers.

NETL participates in career fairs and expos to share information about what it’s like to work as a scientist, engineer, or researcher, and to share internship opportunities with students.
