Critical Components for Coal FIRST Power Plants of the Future

This FOA is focused on the development of critical components that will support potential designs for coal-based power plants of the future.  While it is anticipated that future coal plants will use existing technology to the extent practical, certain critical plant components will need to be upgraded while others will need to be developed to enable coal-fired power plants with the Coal FIRST characteristics described in the FOA.
