Notice of Intent to issue Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) No. DE-FOA-0002180 titled, “Design Development and FEED Studies for Coal FIRST Systems,” and (FOA) DE-FOA-0002057 titled, “Critical Components for Coal FIRST Power Plants of the Future.”

This Notice of Intent provides potential applicants advance notice that the Department of Energy Office of Fossil Energy intends to issue two Coal FIRST (Flexible, Innovative, Resilient, Small, Transformative) Funding Opportunity Announcements (DE-FOA-0002180 and DE-FOA-0002057).  NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH THIS NOTICE.  Please do not submit questions or respond to this Notice of Intent.  This Notice is issued so that interested parties are aware of FE’s intentions to issues these FOAs are in the near term.  Additional details can be found at FedConnect
