The purpose of this Notice of Intent (NOI) is to provide potential applicants advance notice that the Department of Energy (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), on behalf of the DOE Office of Fossil Energy (FE), intends to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) number DE-FOA-0002058, titled Front-End Engineering and Design Studies for Carbon Capture Systems on Coal and Natural Gas Power Plants. PLEASE NOTE NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH THIS NOTICE. Please do not submit questions or respond to this Notice of Intent. Prospective applicants to the FOA should begin developing partnerships, formulating ideas, and gathering data in anticipation of the issuance of this FOA.
