Pittsburgh MOU Publication and News Center

NRG, a project partner for the Pittsburgh MOU, broke ground on a new generating facility in Uptown in March 2017. UPMC Mercy will receive steam, chilled water and backup power from the facility when it becomes operational in 2018. NETL is also partnering with NRG to implement a 400 kWe solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) power system at its North Shore plant. Read more.
