The Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to issue a FOA on behalf of the DOE Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability (OE) titled “Sensor and Modeling Approaches for Enhanced Observability and Controllability of Power Systems with Distributed Energy Resources (DERs).” PLEASE NOTE NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH THIS NOTICE. Responses to the specific Information Request Questions outlined in this NOI are strongly encouraged, however, feedback received in response to the remainder of this NOI is also welcome. Please see the NOI for detailed instructions on submitting responses (feedback). Prospective applicants to the FOA should begin developing partnerships, formulating ideas, and gathering data in anticipation of the issuance of this FOA. It is anticipated that this FOA will be posted to FedConnect (www.fedconnect.net) in early September 2016.
