The purpose of this Notice of Intent (NOI) is to provide potential applicants advance notice that the Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy intends to issue, on behalf of the Vehicle Technologies Office, a Funding Opportunity Announcement, number DE-FOA-0001814 titled "Energy Efficiency R&D for Fluid-Power Systems in Off-Road Vehicles".
The objective of the FOA is to research technologies and innovations that can improve the energy efficiency of fluid power systems for commercial off-road where fluid power systems actuate most of the functions.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH THIS NOTICE. Please do not submit questions or respond to this Notice of Intent. It is anticipated that this FOA will be posted to the EERE Exchange website in the October 2017 timeframe. EERE plans to issue the FOA in October 2017 via the EERE Exchange website . If Applicants wish to receive official notifications and information from EERE regarding the FOA, they should register in EERE Exchange.
