The Department of Energy National Energy Technology Laboratory intends to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement DE-FOA-0002405 on behalf of the Office of Fossil Energy.  The Funding Opportunity Announcement is anticipated to be issued in April 2021.

The Advanced Coal Processing program at NETL delivers solutions to this challenge with novel technologies for producing valuable products from coal-derived sources. Laboratory and pilot-scale Research and Development (R&D) within the program seeks to elevate the value of our nation’s coal resources and transform its use for the future. The program focuses on developing a range of coal-derived products, ranging from high-volume to high-value.
