Pilot Scale Capture Portfolio: Project Review Meeting
November 18-19, 2026
This 1½-day meeting will share updates and findings from nine U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)-funded gas separation projects developing low-cost CO₂ sources for enhanced hydrocarbon recovery. Discussions will emphasize opportunities to improve process efficiency, reduce costs, and advance technologies that support domestic energy production and resource utilization. The meeting will also highlight test centers supporting the development, scale-up, and demonstration of emerging technologies, and discuss NETL Coal Center of Excellence independent verification and validation (IV&V) efforts to assess technologies and project performance. These discussions will raise awareness of ongoing work, promote information exchange, strengthen coordination, and advance technology development and deployment.
