NETL Coal Center of Excellence Stakeholder Workshop

September 24-25, 2026

Advancing Coal Innovation Through Collaboration

The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) welcomes you to the inaugural Coal Center of Excellence (Coal CoE) Stakeholder Workshop — an invitation-only event designed to strengthen collaboration between government, industry, and research organizations while advancing innovation across the coal value chain.

The Coal CoE Stakeholder Workshop is centered on information sharing and technical exchange. Through technical presentations and interactions with NETL researchers, technical experts, and laboratory leadership, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about emerging technologies, share individual industry perspectives, and explore potential opportunities for innovative partnerships. The workshop is designed for broad dialogue and information exchange, not for seeking consensus advice or recommendations.
