National Guideline Standards Use Policy

The Battery Workforce Initiative (BWI) is led by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), a federal agency working in the public interest. The National Guideline Standards are intended to help U.S.-based employers, educators, training providers and the labor community in the development of registered apprenticeships for skilled workers in the advanced-battery manufacturing industry. To ensure efficacy, and maintain certification as provided by the U.S. Department of Labor, there must be no deviation from the National Guideline Standards without prior approval of the regional Department of Labor Office.
