The two-day meeting is intended to bring together experts from academia, industry, and government to present and discuss ongoing turbine research in the areas of combustion, materials/aerodynamics/heat transfer, and pressure gain combustion/oxy-fuel combustion. The meeting agenda will highlight ongoing university research sponsored by the UTSR program, including poster presentations from graduate student fellows. It will feature a tour of Purdue University's lab facilities and panel presentations from leaders in the gas turbine industry on key technological challenges for gas turbines.
