The Subsurface Hydrogen Assessment, Storage, and Technology Acceleration (SHASTA) project, is a research collaboration between four U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratories: the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) that operates to determine the viability, safety, and reliability of storing pure hydrogen or hydrogen-natural gas blends in subsurface environments. The effort is supported by DOE’s Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM) and the Office of Resource Sustainability’s Natural Gas Decarbonization and Hydrogen Technologies (NG-DHT) Program.
As part of FECM’s Office of Resource Sustainability Project Review Meeting, SHASTA will hold a technical workshop on April 03, 2024 to connect with stakeholders on research results and present the state-of-the-art for underground hydrogen storage. Attendees are able to register for the entire Project Review Meeting from April 02, 2024 through April 4, 2024 for $625; the Project Review Meeting and SHASTA Workshop on April 03, 2024 for $275; or the SHASTA Workshop-only on April 03, 2024 for $179. An agenda and list of speakers will follow closer to the date. Food and drinks will be provided, regardless of registration type.
Registration fee will NOT be refunded after Friday, March 22, 2024
